Now through May 6th you can attend Minnie’s Garden Party in the Gardener’s Terrace located inside The Odyssey at the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival! Meet Minnie Mouse in her amazing new floral outfit from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m each day of the event. This beautiful space has been put to such good use the last few festivals. Note these festivities are included with your ticket to Epcot.
At Minnie’s Garden Party you can also purchase this adorable decorative, floral Minnie cake. The flower wall pictured above is made of real flowers! It was put in for Minnie’s Garden Party but will stick around after this weekend as well. In the Gardener’s Terrace right now you’ll also find a few different merchandise collections including the 2019 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival Annual Passholder merchandise, some fancy Dapper Day attire and accessories and Minnie’s adorable collection for the festival. My favorite pieces are the watering can and Tervis tumbler.
Minnie Mouse has always been filled with radiant positivity and excitement for life. She’s the mouse we all grew up with and I’ve loved seeing her style change over the years. I remember her big floppy bow from my childhood and admire her little pie eyes in the new shorts. Now you can follow Minnie on Instagram! You’ll find positive messages on her new Instagram account, @MinnieMouse, with quotes like “love yourself from bow to toe” and “happiness blooms from within.” There are a lot of official Disney social media accounts and I’m really impressed with the different direction Minnie has taken. She seems to be coming into a new era of girl power with the recent announcements of Captain Minnie on Disney Cruise Line and now Chef Minnie for EPCOT’s food and wine festival later this year. For 90 years fans have been connecting with Minnie Mouse. Now we can do so in the most modern way.
