My Favorite Toy Story Land Details

Disclosure: I was invited to experience Toy Story Land with guests.

Toy Story Land Popsicle Stick WallToy Story Land far exceeded my expectations. What looked cute as a rendering quickly became one of my favorite places to play at Walt Disney World. It’s just one of those things you have to experience. There are so many details to take in and tons of, “I see what they did there,” all around. I recently got to explore Andy’s backyard and rounded up some of my favorite details.

Toy Story Land Popsicle Stick Wall

When I first visited Toy Story Land there were no photos allowed and I really just took it all in. It was wonderful. But I knew what I wanted to take a picture of as soon as I returned: popsicle sticks. In real life, I hate to touch them. In Toy Story Land, they are pastel and perfect. I first saw a bench made of popsicle sticks and just couldn’t get over how clever it was. You can find this popsicle stick wall above on the way out of Toy Story Mania.

Toy Story Land at NightToy Story Land at Night

Toy Story Land changes completely at night. It’s definitely worth going to see it colorfully shining in the sun but also lit after dark. I’m just tickled that there are Christmas lights hanging here year round. Mostly because I love Christmas but partly because this area neighbors where the beloved Osborne Lights display once was and serves as a nice little nod. Toy Story Land Slinky Dog at Night

Slinky Dog Dash at Night

My absolute favorite detail is the Slinky Dog Dash track at night. Wow. This totally isn’t celebrated enough. The track actually does a bunch of cool light tricks with the ride vehicle as it cruises around. We spent a good few minutes just watching the Slinky Dogs go by and seeing what the track could do.Toy Story Land Andy's Lunch Box

Woody’s Lunch Box

Woody’s Lunch Box is a delicious gold mine of references. Walt Disney Imagineering, we see you flexing. Everywhere you look there’s something cute and creative from cheese seats to animal crackers based off of the animals from Toy Story Mania. Shoutout to my husband for noticing that. Woody’s Lunch Box Vegan Totchos

I started eating a plant-based diet this summer and let me tell you, Walt Disney World makes it so exciting. We got Woody’s Lunch Box vegan totchos and loved it. I mean as basic as they are I’m always going to be excited about tots, or potato barrels as they are cutely referred to at Woody’s Lunch Box. We got the Daiya cheese on ours and I really liked it.

Toy Story Land Buzz Lightyear

I’ve got no photo for this last one but I just wanted to mention a sweet little moment on Slinky Dog Dash where you go over a hill and slow down and just face the sky. The sky, folks, where the clouds are. Blue skies and clouds are such a Toy Story thing and I loved this so much. I really hope someone did this on purpose.
