Orlando is a top vacation spot in America with something of interest for all kinds of tourists. These days, it’s possible to find Orlando deals on everything from hotels to theme park tickets. In the summer of 2023 there are some fantastic discounts to help you enter the grid at TRON Lightcycle / Run at Disney World or beedo over to Minion Land at Universal Orlando. If you priced out a trip to Orlando over the last few years, I don’t have to tell you that costs were brow raising. Consumers are finally starting to see some enticing specials again on Orlando area entertainment and lodging.
Aside from what’s highlighted below, Florida Resident, teacher, AAA and military deals can also be very appealing when offered. Please note that I have a working relationship with most Orlando area attractions and a connection to many hotels, including some mentioned below and that related product links may be affiliate links that support this blog and helpful content like this. Disney Springs Area Hotel Discounts
Years ago, the best way to visit Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida was to stay at the onsite Disney resort hotels. Being a resort guest used to include excellent perks like a complimentary ride from and to the airport on Disney’s Magical Express, a free service where in-park purchases could be delivered to your hotel and the beloved, resort guest only, late park nights called Extra Magic Hours. With all of those special perks discontinued, or paused, vacationers might be looking for a better value on hotels.
This summer, the Disney Springs area hotel discounts are coming through with some nice prices. Disney Springs resort area hotels are located on Disney property and have a complimentary shuttle service to the Disney theme parks. If you want to visit Universal Orlando theme parks on your trip to the area, Disney Springs hotels are located on the far east side of Disney property and close to I-4. The are the closest hotels to Universal parks on Disney property. Also good to know, Disney Springs Resort Area Hotel guests can enjoy even more magic with 30 minute early entry to any theme park every day.
Based on government changes to the travel industry, all fees should be visible upfront but remember to look for and include resort fees if there are any to get the actual price per night.

Universal Orlando Discounted Tickets
Florida Resident Universal Annual Pass 15 Month Special: Universal Orlando Resort has an excellent promotion going for annual passes. You can buy a pass that’s good for 15 months at the normal annual pass rate. That means you can include two summers in one annual pass! This was a thing Disney did in the past and it’s a great way to provide more value. This special is valid on any 2 park and 3 park annual passes. UOAPs up for renewal can take advantage of this special as well.
Unfortunately it provides a disadvantage for current Universal Orlando Annual Passholders who are not within their 30 day renewal window and, thus, ineligible to renew. I bought a 2-Park Annual Preferred Florida Resident Adult Pass for $468.59 total in March of 2023. Before tax that pass was $439.99 and it’s now, just three months later, $529.99. That’s more than a 20% price increase and, perhaps, the inspiration for this kind of promotion.

Discounted Disney World Tickets Summer 2023
Disney World ticket prices have absolutely sky rocketed over the last few years. This summer, there are some ticket discounts that make park days more affordable.
Florida Residents Disney Summer Magic Ticket: Florida Residents can buy a 4 day Disney Summer Magic Ticket for $229 plus tax. Thats about $58 per day. These are good for one park per day or you can add a Park Hopper option for about $40 per ticket.
These tickets are truly a summer offer and only good through September 29th, 2023. Blockout dates include May 26th to May 29th, July 1st to July 4th and September 1st to September 4th. There is a catch with these: these tickets require you to book a park pass reservation. That means there may be additional blockout dates that are not shared upfront.
4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket: This specially priced summer theme park ticket is $99 per day, plus tax, around $400 total. There are some caveats with this as well. Disney’s official details: “The 4-Park Magic Ticket includes one admission to each of the 4 Walt Disney World theme parks—Magic Kingdom park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park, EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios—for a total of 4 admissions, on 4 separate days. Limit one admission per theme park, and one theme park per day. This ticket does not require theme park reservations to enter the parks.

Cirque du Soleil Orlando Discount Tickets
Drawn to Life is a stunning and magical visual spectacle. With the Sizzling Summer Savings Offer tickets start at just $59! The permanent theater is located at Disney Springs which does not require a ticket for entry and free parking. Cirque du Soleil Drawn to Life combines circus arts with artistic vision and a sprinkle of pixie dust. Let’s clarify that live animals are not part of Cirque du Soleil shows and Disney characters do not appear in this one. I’ve never floated on a cloud but the feeling I have when I’m watching a Cirque du Soleil shows must be equivalent. Encore Performing Arts Orlando Shows
Encore! performing arts started producing shows as a creative outlet for those in the Orlando area community. The group has donated $300,000 to local Central Florida organizations over the last few decades.
This summer, Encore performing arts is putting on a classic piece of comedic theater. SPAMALOT will run July 8th and 9th in the Walt Disney Theater at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Downtown Orlando. Encore Spamalot tickets are an excellent value starting as low as $25. Show times are listed below.

Osceola Arts Theatre
The greater Orlando area is home to so many performing artists. Down the road at Osceola Arts, the musical comedy Xanadu is set to take the stage this summer. “It’s the 1980s and Sonny is a struggling artist searching for inspiration when a beautiful Greek muse descends from Mount Olympus and encourages him to build the world’s greatest creation…a Roller Disco!” Osceola Arts shows provide an opportunity to enjoy theater at an excellent value with Xanadu tickets priced from $24 to $29.
