Disney After Hours at Hollywood Studios

Disclosure: I was invited to attend this event and received free tickets.

Disney After Hours at Hollywood Studios was a total dream for me. It’s been my favorite park for years and I loved experiencing “the Hollywood that never was and always will be” with hardly anyone in it. Disney After Hours events allow guests to enjoy a Disney Park after it has closed for the day. A very limited number of tickets are sold keeping lines short or nonexistent. It feels empty.. and it’s awesome. If you’ve been following along you’ve read my Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom and Disney After Hours at Animal Kingdom reviews and know I think these events are a great time. Hollywood Studios has a lot of thrills to offer with Slinky Dog Dash, Rock n Roller Coaster and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.

Comparing Disney After Hours at the Parks

If Disney After Hours sounds like something you’d love but you’re not sure which one to attend, here are some things to consider. If you love rides and want to go on a ton without waiting, Magic Kingdom is your best pick. There were so many rides open and, ya know, that pretty castle is there so that’s always a perk. Animal Kingdom had some great, and usually hard to get on, thrill rides open at the event like Flight of Passage and Expedition Everest but it also felt the emptiest which I thought was really exciting. I like being able to see the parks so empty and appreciating the little details. If you and your party love meeting characters, Hollywood Studios is going to be your best pick. We met Mickey, Minnie and Olaf in about 15 minutes. Total. The interactions felt more fun and lengthy because there wasn’t really a wait. There are also characters in Toy Story Land and Star Wars Launch Bay. Of course the other thing to consider is dates! Each of these three Walt Disney World parks has a limited number of Disney After Hours events held on select dates.

See the official Disney site for upcoming dates and remember there are discounts for Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members and Cast Members!
