Sanaa Lunch Review

I recently dined at Sanaa for the first time with my friend, Jeff, and my boyfriend, Jim. I’ve been more of an adventurous eater over the past few years but I wasn’t a fan of the food here. For an appetizer we tried the roasted cauliflower with tomato sauce. For my entree I had the chicken with red curry sauce, spicy Durban chicken, and basmati rice. I enjoyed trying something new but didn’t find these tastes to please my palate.

However, I would dine here again simply to bask in the ambiance. It’s located in Kidani Village, the Disney Vacation Club wing of the Animal Kingdom Lodge, and has a splendid view of their savanna complete with roaming animals. Sanaa has a most intriguing design with lovely booths, intricate decor and the most charming light fixtures I’ve seen. I’m a bit of a chandelier connoisseur, if there is such a thing, and though they aren’t big sparklies I could still stare at them in awe. And did. Check them out.

There were so many different kinds! A must see. Also be sure to seek the words of wisdom around Kidani Village. These butterflies on the wall offer admirable quotes near by.

Aaaand say hi to this tortoise we befriended. We spent like twenty minutes watching him crawl around. What a cutie.
