I attended the last Saturday of Star Wars weekends with my boyfriend Jim and wanted to share the fun we had. We caught the shows Behind The Force and Obi-Wan and Beyond. I’ll have a full article on the Obi-Wan show that you will surely be inspired by so check back soon.
On this visit we actually had time to make it over to Darth’s Mall, the Star Wars Weekends exclusive merchandise tent. I caught up with Ashley Eckstein again and had to take a picture of our sparkly shoes together.
She also dawned a fabulous outfit made of Star Wars bedsheets! Very cool.
Me and Jim got the Star Tours name tags with our names written in Aurebesh. I’m from Coruscant and he’s from Tatooine.

..but my friend Suzannah’s son did! Here I am rocking a Her Universe shirt. Mrs. Eckstein signed it for me when we chatted. I love all of her designs and was so happy to finally buy a shirt of hers.
Star Wars Weekends was really different for me this year because I had actually seen more of the movies this time around. Until earlier this year I had only seen The Phantom Menace, which I loved as a little girl, but hadn’t seen the classics. The park had a different feel about it and the shows were so worth seeing. I’ll have my lightsaber on the shelf ready for next year.
