Frozen 2 Party Ideas

Frozen 2 Party Ideas

This is a Frozen 2 watch party dinner for two using items and supplies I had around the house. I was inspired by the Frozen 2 color palette, the Enchanted Forest in the film and Gale, the wind character. The crystal glasses and vase represent Elsa and make it more chic. I cut some paper ice diamonds on my Cricut and threw a little confetti I saved from a birthday party for some table scatter. My glitter canvas set adds a lot to this table setting as placemats and folded in the vase. Glitter canvas is versatile, reusable and comes in a beautiful palette.

Frozen 2 inspired dinner The Enchanted Forest trees are so easy to make and look just like the ones in movie. Just wrap and tape white computer paper around battery powered LED candles and horizontally swipe some brown watercolor paint across them. Add a little autumn leaf garland and it really fills up the space and brings color. Tie a piece of Elsa icy teal glitter tulle around other candles to add some sparkle and different heights and textures to the tablescape.

For the food I went with a simple roasted veggie platter but named the selections to represent Frozen 2. Writing out a cute menu, framing it on another piece of paper and placing it on a plate stand is an easy way to elevate the look and add to the theme. The Ahtohallan Cooler was a simple recipe of sparkling water, blueberry puree and a mint garnish.

Mickey Mouse Party Ideas

Here are some mouse shaped ideas for a simple Mickey inspired lunch party.

Mickey Party Ideas

Using Mickey shaped and inspired plates I served corn dogs and fries, very Main Street, and chocolate covered Oreo Mickeys made at home.

DIY Mickey Place Cards

I did a little Disney DIY crafting using my Cricut to make Mickey place cards. Just weld two mirror image Mickey shapes together, place the name over one side and select the cut option for the text. After cutting it out, fold the Mickeys where they join at the top and glue a small piece of paper on the insides of the bottom to make a triangle stand to support it.
DIY Mickey Oreos

The size ratio of Oreos to mini Oreos is perfect for making Mickey shaped treats. Dip half of an Oreo into melted chocolate and place it on wax paper on a flat surface like a cutting board. Dip a mini Oreo into chocolate and place it into ear position on the wax paper. Drip chocolate where the two meet using it as glue to join them. Carefully place it into the fridge and when they harden you’ve got perfect Mickey Oreos.

To add a bit of color to the table, Mickey stationery makes a perfect placemat for appetizer plates.

Mickey Breakfast Board

I love how versatile charcuterie boards are and I had to try one for breakfast. This Mickey breakfast board has banana, granola pancakes, Mickey waffles, blueberries, sliced up oranges, butter, syrup and candied pecans. It’s perfect for a brunch with friends or a sweet little Sunday in.
