Royal Rooms at Walt Disney World

Storytelling: it’s all in the details. One of the things that sets the Disney parks apart is the close attention to detail. No stone is left unturned, and that beautiful detailing is not only present in the parks, but in the resorts as well. Within the last few years, Disney took storytelling and detail to a new level when the Royal Guest Rooms were unveiled at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort- Riverside.

These magical guest rooms sleep four people and are easily some of the most beautiful rooms on Disney property. My jaw dropped and I squealed like a child when I opened the door. The room is stunning. The decor is regal and the theme is so sweet. Tiana has left a note on the table for her guests, welcoming them to her royal guest rooms and wishing them the best of times with family and friends.

As you look around the room, you can spot the bayou of Tiana’s adventures on the bed headboards, which light up with their own fiberoptic fireworks display at the push of a button. You can also spy portraits of all of the Disney royals on the walls, as well as your beautiful hostess, the lovely Princess Tiana.

What really makes these rooms is those perfectly placed details. You may find that the magic lamp from Aladdin doubles as your faucet, and that there is an ottoman that looks similar to the one in the Beast’s castle. Need a magic carpet? Your room comes equipped.

From the wallpaper border to the coat hooks by the door, every inch of these rooms include magical details from all of the Disney princess films. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and unlike anything I’ve ever seen. They are the most wonderfully themed rooms on Disney property, in my opinion, and they are the perfect choice for a girls trip! I felt like total royalty at this resort, and I can’t wait to come back someday!
