When my boyfriend told me he’d be hosting a Q & A with some of the Once Upon a Time cast, I quickly started watching the show. I started at the beginning and fell in love in less time than it takes Regina to crush a heart. I watched season one up to the current episode in just a few weeks, fangirled over it with every friend I could and enjoyed watching the season finale live with Jim because I was caught up.

Fast forward to Spooky Empire May-hem. I got to chat with Rebecca Mader (Wicked Witch), Lee Arenberg (Grumpy), Lana Parrilla (Evil Queen), Sean Maguire (Robin Hood), Jason Burkhart (Little John) and Freya Tingley (Wendy). All fabulous and fun folks.
Lee Arenberg is one of the coolest humans I’ve met, thanking his fans for allowing him to live on the beach and saying that he gets paid for the waiting around and does the acting for free. Phenom. He also talked about having gratitude. Good people.
Rebecca Mader referred to a few things as wicked while we were chatting and I couldn’t help but smile. I happened to see someone ask her to sign a yellow brick for them and thought–wow, she needs a green Sharpie. So I went and bought her one. Her piercing blue eyes lit up as she said she needed it and snatched it up. She was so good to Jim. Also her hair is amazing.
When I spoke with Lana Parrilla, I was internally giddy when she pivoted around the red bow I gave her to watch it sparkle.
I gave Freya Tingley one of my Wendy blue bows and she actually put it on! I had a moment.
For the Q & A, it was a full house so I took a seat backstage thanks to Jim to free up a seat in the audience for someone else. I loved being right there and hearing my new favorites share stories about this show that has fairytale fans all a flutter. In this video you’ll hear some of their awesome stories and thoughts about the show:
