It’s the most wonderful time of the year and one of the most amazing seasonal exhibits is back in Orlando. ICE! at Gaylord Palms is a walk-through carved ice exhibit, this year featuring the story of The Nutcracker. Throughout this clear and colorful ice display you’ll also find a room with giant lighty-uppy ice slides. Yes, the big kids can go on these and I always do. (See in my video from last year’s Frosty the Snowman themed ICE!) The Nutcracker looks lovely told through ice. The ice ballerinas and toy soldiers were probably my favorite. An absolutely stunning Nativity scene is always at the end of ICE! I’m amazed by this shining, sparkling display of the meaning of Christmas. New this year to Christmas at Gaylord Palms is snow tubing! You can play in the snow in Florida and you don’t even have to shovel after. (This exhibit is separate from ICE!)
It’s easy to make a night out of the Christmas offerings at Gaylord Palms. The atrium is so gorgeously lit up and Christmas songs sound amazing from the voices of Luminescence. You can see this show for free in the atrium. It’s more than just a concert, there are some pretty aerial arts, too. I highly recommend it!

My husband has been asking to go. I told him next year for sure. I’ve lived her 10 years and have never gone so I need to change that 😉
Looking forward to going on Dec 28! I have lived in Orlando, Tampa area for 10years and this will be my first visit to ICE.
