Twas the Night Before Christmas will be the theme of Gaylord Palms ICE! 2015 exhibit. If you’ve already been, you know this chilly, carved display really gets you in the holiday spirit. Colorful and clear ice fill frigid rooms to tell a story. This year we can look forward to seeing another classic tale told through ice. At the end of it all there’s a beautiful nativity scene! It’s so peaceful and angelic. The attraction usually lets out into a gift shop with tons of reasonably priced Christmas decor and ornaments in every theme and color. Definitely worth peeking around at.

Here are some more things you may want to know before visiting ICE! at Gaylord Palms:
Yes, it’s freezing! But parkas are provided.
Be careful with electronics. My iPhone battery usually drains quickly.
Cover your hands and head to stay warmest.
Keep in mind there is a charge for parking.
Yes, grown ups can go on the ice slides too.
Grab a tissue on the way out. You know. Runny noses can happen from cool to warm.
I recommend trying some of the offerings below and making a night out of it.
You can also see the Christmas tree lighting and Cirque Dreams Christmas show in the resort’s atrium and participate in The Elf on The Shelf themed scavenger hunt which are all free to all resort guests and visitors! For an additional cost, Christmas at Gaylord Palms also offers gingerbread cookie decorating, pictures with Santa and holiday dining including breakfast with Mrs. Claus. The Gaylord Palms’ rich Florida theming makes it a beautiful place to visit and stay. These photos below are from a Christmas at Gaylord Palms preview event.
