#SparklyNicolesBookClub @SparklyNicole
There is more treasure in books than in all the pirates loot on Treasure Island and best of all, you can enjoy these riches every day of your life.
– Walt Disney
Each month we read one Disney related book, sift through the magic, savor the positivity and meet live on YouTube to discuss it. Dates and details are below but if you can’t make the time listed you can watch after. Sparkly Nicole’s Book Club is totally free and seeks to offer affordable selections.
How do I sign up for your book club? People ask me this every month so I’ve opened the comments on this post so you can let me know with a simple “joining you to read {book title}” comment here. If you’re reading with us, I hope to see you at our book club meeting! That’s where the real magic happens and your live conversation is what makes it.

October 2021 book: From Disneyland’s Tom Sawyer to Disney Legend: The Adventures of Tom Nabbe
I met Tom Nabbe at a recent Disney fan event and told him my book club read about him. He asked why we didn’t read about him in his book. So, here we are! From Tom’s website: “In 1955, twelve-year-old Tom Nabbe was selling newspapers at Disneyland when he began trying to convince Walt to give him a role as Tom Sawyer on Tom Sawyer Island.” His long and interesting career with The Walt Disney Company eventually brought him to Walt Disney World and ultimately earned him the honor of being a Disney Legend. The title of the book above will take you to Tom’s website where you can purchase an autographed copy.
