D23 Expo Day 1 LIVE

I was happy to participate in the D23 Expo Fun Run, put on by runDisney, and do a lap around DCA! Thanks to Gertie for the pic.

To start the day we celebrated Phineas and Ferb Mission Marvel with the unveiling of the Dr. Doofenshmirtz Waffle-inator! Catch the debut August 16th at 8 pm! Here is Alyson Stoner and Vincent Martella with the show’s co-creator Swampy Marsh launching the Waffle-inator in the background.

I got my makeup done at the Sephora Ariel collection booth! I also got word that there aren’t any plans in the works for another collection after Ariel. It’s not a definite no but with Sephora’s many collaborations this may be it for this line. Let’s keep our fingers crossed! I’m hoping to get here early enough tomorrow to get the limited edition Ariel rhinestoned compact. It sold out super early this morning!

Me and Jim made a Mary Poppins presentation by Dave Smith our first one. We saw excellent clips from filming and the premiere and learned so much fun info.

It’s been an afternoon of presentations. I loved hearing Tony Baxter and Josh Shipley share Undiscovered Disneyland. At the end Tom Staggs made a cameo to announce that Tony Baxter will have a Window On Main Street this Fall and provided three guests in the audience with an invitation to the ceremony.
