Best Epic Universe Snacks You Have to Try

Every theme park has signature menu items to indulge in. From snacks that looks just like the movie to savory orders you’ll remember, theme park food continues to get more creative. Many of Epic Universe’s dining options are quick service. There are also walk up kiosks with fun foods in each of the five lands. These are some of the most themed snacks and treats you’ll find at Universal Orlando Resort’s newest theme park. Here are some favorite quick bites, sweet treats and iconic menu items to add to your list.

Koopa Troopa Calzones in Super Nintendo World

Where to get it: Yoshi’s Snack Island on the corner next to the Yoshi’s Adventure ride

Price: $12.99

You know that feeling when you’re in second place in Mario Kart and you get a red shell? That’s how it feels to get one of the Koopa Troopa Calzones at Yoshi’s Snack Island. These two toned, crunchy snacks come in a plastic Yoshi sleeve and look just like they do in the games. There is a Red Shell Calzone that has meat and cheese and a Green Shell Calzone that’s similar but vegan. These can come out extra hot and are quite messy but they’re very cute and delicious!

The butterbeer, or bièraubeurre, crepe is only found at one location: the Epic Universe quick service restaurant Café L’air De La Sirène.

Everyone’s favorite Wizarding World beverage now has a plated dessert in this Epic Universe land. Enter the butterbeer crepe, called Bièraubeurre Crepe in French, on the menu. It’s topped with butterbeer drizzle, strawberries and a decorated shortbread cookie. Some people say it’s too sweet but the whipped topping was the sweetest bit to me and you’re in charge of your fork and how much goes on it.

Café L’air De La Sirène is a quick service restaurant in the Harry Potter section of the park. This Parisian cafe has indoor and outdoor seating. Simply pick a table, a team member will help you find one if it’s busy, and place your order using the Universal Orlando Resort app. You can scan the QR code on your table to see the menu and order. Remember to put in your table number and tell them you’re ready for your order in the app too.

In the Isle of Berk, the mac and cheese cones are a popular snack and come in a themed, paper holder.

Where to get it: Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel stand, Spit Fyre Grill through mobile order

Price: $11.99

The mac and cheese cones in the Isle of Berk are the snack I’ve gotten the most. It’s macaroni and cheese in a hollowed out, everything seasoned baguette. The top is like garlic bread though and it’s covered in cheddar fish crackers. You can easily make this a meal. The Classic Mac and Cheese cone is pictured but there are other versions with additional toppings too.

Tip: The line for these at Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel can be long so try Spit Fyre Grill mobile order to save time.

Where to get it: Star Sui Bao

Price: $11.99

In the center of the park, there are a few different walk-up food and beverage options. Star Sui Bao has delicious bao buns. Shown is the Celestial Steamed Bun which is filled with bok choy and shiitake mushrooms. It comes with a vegetarian oyster sauce that’s quite spicy. These are just the right size for a snack. Celestial Park also has benches throughout and many beautiful flowers to admire. We love a snack with a view.

Where can you get the butterbeer crepe at Universal?

The butterbeer crepe is a new treat that’s only available at Epic Universe in the Ministry of Magic, Paris themed area of the park. It’s not sold in the Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure Wizarding Worlds. Look for Bièraubeurre Crepe on the Café L’air De La Sirène menu when mobile ordering in the Universal app.

Do you need dining reservations at Epic Universe?

There are only two restaurants at Epic Universe that you need a reservation for: Atlantic and The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant. Everything else is quick service or a walk up kiosk. With the quick service at Universal you just walk in when you’re ready to eat and use mobile order from your table. You can also place your mobile order in advance and tell the app you’re there once you have a table.
