Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Vegan Food Guide

[Note: I will add Star Wars vegan food items as I try them when Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens at Walt Disney World in 2019.]

Disney Parks gets it when it comes to making magical dining experiences for guests with special dietary needs. I’ve been eating vegan at Walt Disney World for almost a year and it’s been incredible. I’m far from touching everything there is to offer and the options keep increasing. I’ll have a massive article with pictures of everything I’ve eaten soon. Someone at Disney told me there is an initiative to place two whole food, plant based items, not just soy products and veggie burgers, on every menu. So far it’s looking really good, especially for new restaurants and Star Wars vegan food options. Taking a first look at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge menus, I think plant based, vegetarian and dairy-free guests will be delighted.

Star Wars Vegan Food Options Include Blue Milk

I’m delightfully surprised to see Blue Milk at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is plant based! I see varying answers to whether it is rice, oat or nut milk. I’ll update when we know for sure. These drinks are closer to a milkshake consistency. Sounds perfect for hot Florida days.

Felucian Garden Spread

The Felucian Garden Spread is a plant-based kefta chilled “meatball” dish with herb hummus and tomato-cucumber relish with pita bread. This dish is found at the Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo restaurant. The plant based meat is Impossible Foods which makes the best vegan burger in my opinion. The Impossible Burger can be found at Walt Disney World in slider form at some EPCOT festivals and regularly at The Edison at Disney Springs.

Ithorian Garden Loaf

The Ithorian Garden Loaf is a plant-based “meatloaf” dish with roasted vegetable mash, seasonal vegetables, and mushroom sauce. This is also Impossible Foods and found at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo.

Also worth noting, some items at the Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo come with a mixed greens, roasted vegetables, quinoa and pumpkin seed side. It comes with a green curry ranch dressing but I’m hoping it’s modifiable.

The Outpost Mix Popcorn

We need to check on this but I’m thinking Outpost Mix popcorn might be vegan. Regular “buttered” Popcorn at Disney Parks is actually vegan and my favorite snack there.
