Disney Wedding Dresses 2023

Imagine yourself walking down the aisle of Disney’s Wedding Pavilion, floating toward the love of your life, surrounded by dear ones in the pretty white pews. But what are you wearing? If you’re still figuring that part out, there are quite a few Disney wedding dresses to choose from. More debut each year in an array of styles inspired by Disney Princesses. The 2023 Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Collection brings new selections to those seeking the dress that’s the right fit in all the ways. This is the fourth collection from Disney and Allure Bridals whose partnership began in 2020.

Disney Wedding Dresses Overview

Let’s cover some basic Disney wedding dress information to get you introduced. Different brands have produced Disney wedding dresses over the years. Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings currently partners with Allure Bridals. How much do Disney wedding dresses cost? Do they come in my size? Bridal gowns start at $1,799 and are available in a range of sizes from 0 to 30. The 2023 Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Collection features 21 different gowns inspired by Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Rapunzel, Snow White and Tiana.

Disney Wedding Dresses 2023

The 2023 collection debuted in February and features some different asymmetrical designs, lots of puff sleeves and a few gowns that look a lot like some original Disney Princess dresses. To me, many of these gowns look like they are for a bride who wants something.. she hasn’t seen before. There were two standouts for me in the Disney wedding dresses 2023 lineup.

Disney Wedding Dresses 2023 | Tiana DP358

The first is this Tiana wedding dress. The silhouette and material on the lower part of this Tiana dress make it notable for me. The material actually reminds me of the one of a kind, super glitzy Disney wedding dress that debuted for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World. I love the sleeveless look here but that the straps are still notable and make a statement.

Disney Wedding Dresses 2023 | Cinderella D373

I’m always drawn to a beautiful Cinderella gown. Something about this classic princess just says wedding to me. The Cinderella D373 dress has a familiar shape with refreshing beadwork in sweeping patterns.

The Debut of Disney Bridesmaid Gowns

Now your bridal party can play princess with you. The Disney wedding dresses 2023 collection will also include bridesmaid dresses for the first time. In a make it pink, make it blue aesthetic, the Disney bridesmaid dresses pictured above are inspired by Aurora. There are nine different Disney Princess inspired bridesmaid dresses debuting. The Disney bridesmaid dresses will come in different colors and fabrics. They are not in stores yet though. Disney bridesmaids gowns are available in the Fall of 2023.

Where to Buy Disney Wedding Dresses

If you’re wondering where to buy Disney wedding dresses, the answer might be closer than you think. Disney wedding dresses are not sold at Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort. Instead, you can use the Allure Bridals retail finder to find a store near you. It also shows which collection each retailer carries. Not all stores carry all dresses. I would get in touch with your local retailer to see if they have what you’re interested in. At very least, go with an open mind.

Pictures or videos don’t always showcase a gown in its full glory. My suggestion, if you are interested in a Disney wedding dress, is to go try one on for yourself. I went to a Disney wedding dress event put on for bloggers years ago and was enchanted with more than one. (Note that company no longer produces Disney wedding dresses.) I ended up liking styles once they were on me that I didn’t like in pictures. You might be surprised by what suits you best.

Disney Weddings Crystal Coach Coming to Disneyland

Along with the 2023 Disney wedding dress collection debut came an announcement that might intrigue potential Disney brides considering a west coast wedding. A new coach will debut at Disneyland Resort later this year. Disney shared this about the new addition:

“Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons has also unveiled the design of a new coach that will join the fleet of Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings carriages. The new coach features details inspired by the classic Disney love story, Cinderella, and will arrive at Disneyland Resort this fall. Handcrafted details include a pumpkin canopy and an interior shrouded in delicate vines. The new coach at Disneyland Resort will round out the trio of carriages that include the Cinderella Coach at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and the Disney Fairy Tale Carriage at Disneyland Paris.”

 Disney Weddings Merchandise

While you won’t find Disney wedding dresses for sale at Disney Parks, there is a fair amount of Disney weddings merchandise to discover. Below I’m featuring some of the current Disney weddings merchandise available online. It’s possible to find some of this in the parks and resorts but selections vary based on availability. I regularly see the best selection of Disney weddings merchandise in the Sandy Cove Gifts and Sundries shop at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. This is probably because the Disney Wedding Pavilion is located next to the Grand. It’s possible you’ll find some cute Disney weddings merchandise items at theme parks’ main stores, like the Emporium at Magic Kingdom.

If there is something in particular that you want, I do not recommend waiting until your wedding trip to buy it. I have seen different versions of the castle cake topper and Disney weddings ears over the years. While there may always be some version of the items available, it may not be the one you see now.
