It’s that time of year when every bit of Walt Disney World is covered in Christmas magic. That includes Disney Springs and the special offerings you can only see there at the most wonderful time of the year. You can celebrate the holidays at Disney Springs from November 8th, 2018 through January 6th, 2019. There are a lot of seasonal treats around like gingerbread at Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC! It’s also the perfect time to visit new additions to Disney Springs this year like the trendy and colorful DisneyStyle store across from the Characters in Flight balloon. Let’s take a look at some other things you may want to add to your list.
Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail
The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail returns! Snow and holiday music fill the air as you wind around a magical path filled with 27 Disney themed Christmas trees. From tree topper down, these branches are filled with ornaments and decor inspired by your favorite Disney characters, movies and theme parks. New this year is the Haunted Mansion tree! The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail is open from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily and is located on the Marketplace side of Disney Springs near Earl of Sandwich. It is reached easiest by parking in the lime garage. Note: Ornaments featured in lanterns are noted with where they are available for purchase.
Meet Santa Claus
Guests can meet Santa Claus through December 24th at Santa’s Chalet on the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail. There’s a neat little system to help with the wait. You check in and give your phone number and Santa elves will text you when it’s time to come meet him.
Stitch’s Holiday Gift Hunt
Enjoy a scavenger hunt? Disney Springs has some holiday fun in store or.. stores! Head to one of the following participating locations to get a Holiday Gift Hunt booklet that contains a map, clues and stickers to play: Amorette’s Patisserie, Basin, Christmas Tree Trail (Mickey & Minnie tree),The Ganachery, MAC Cosmetics, Marketplace Co-Op, Once Upon a Toy, Rainforest Cafe, Sperry, Star Wars Galactic Outpost, UNIQLO and Wolfgang Puck Express at Disney Springs Marketplace.
New World of Disney store
Christmas shopping for the Disney fans on your list is easier than ever at the reimagined World of Disney store at Disney Springs. It’s the biggest store at Walt Disney World with a massive selection of merchandise. The new layout has subtle touches of Disney animation magic with an easy to navigate layout.
Ralph Breaks the Internet at The VOID
In addition to the Star Wars virtual reality experience at Disney Springs, Ralph Breaks the Internet will debut this fall. Starting November 21st you can jump into the internet with Ralph and Vanellope! This looks to be an additional offering as tickets to experience Star Wars are still available as well.
