Morning at Disney Springs

Some things totally recharge me. Nature is a big one. Also, pretty color palettes and great architecture. Sometimes being alone or at Disney, in some capacities, brings me energy. Morning at Disney Springs is really refreshing and the perfect combination of these things.

Morning at Disney Springs

Since Disney invited me on a Disney Springs Instawalk in the fall, I’ve wanted to return at that hour. It was early in the morning and everything was sparkling clean. Though shops and things were open guests weren’t out and about yet, or they had theme parks plans, and the vibe was totally relaxing.

This morning me and my fiancé went for a walk at Disney Springs. We parked at the Orange Garage, started our walk heading to the parking lot behind Cirque du Soleil La Nouba and then u-turned and headed toward the Marketplace area. It was absolutely beautiful. The only people around were Cast Members and other walkers and runners. I had been eyeing the other side of the water, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, and we took our little walking adventure over there.

Did you know you can walk to Disney Springs from Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort? There’s a little bridge behind the Art of Disney store next to Rainforest Cafe. I don’t think you can make a complete circle around the water though. You may have to take a boat if you don’t want to walk back and retrace your steps.

If you’re wondering how far we walked, starting with the path above then taking the bridge after Fulton’s across the water and the long way passing World of Disney back to the Orange Garage gave us about a 2 mile path according to my little pink Garmin watch.Concrete Mickey at Disney Springs SparklyEverAfter.com

After stopping to rock on some chairs and enjoy nature and a great view of Disney Springs from Saratoga Springs we headed to Earl of Sandwich. It was around 9:00 am at this point and there was still no one around. This next sentence is one you never thought you would read. There was no line at Earl of Sandwich. They serve breakfast sandwiches so we indulged on those and some fruit and then continued our part workout, part leisure, part fun walking adventure.

Not everything was open yet but there was certainly enough to make a shopper happy. I enjoyed every detail along the way like the peppy new Disney music that’s totally made for an outdoor shopping area. I do miss the classic Disney tunes in the Marketplace but no one’s perfect. We ended our morning with a stop at Starbucks. We sat outside on the water and watched the boats and amphicars go by.Disney Springs Starbucks SparklyEverAfter.com

Disney Springs in the morning is the complete opposite of navigating through the crowded nights and weekends. Parking is easy and it’s certainly cooler before the midday Florida sun comes out to play. If you want to shop somewhere in particular I would confirm their hours and get there when they open. In this case, the early birds gets Disney Springs all to themselves.

    Good Morning Nicole 🙂

You actually can make a full loop around the water. There is also an entrance to Disney Springs behind Cirque that takes you by the Lake Buena Vista Golf Course as SS. Just thought you’d like to you 🙂 Have a FANTASTIC DAY!!

Travis, thanks so much! I had a feeling but wasn’t sure because of the water there. Great!
