The 2014 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is in full bloom at Walt Disney World. This event is such a nice addition to an already beautiful Park. Disney character topiaries adorn the beautiful backdrop of EPCOT with all sorts of other flower and garden goodness tucked in between. Returning this year are the food stands around World Showcase. Move over, Food & Wine.
So I tried frushi for the first time. It’s what you think it is: fruit sushi. I’d heard of it last year and had no interest because I thought of the textures and wasn’t intrigued. For some reason, I got brave a few weeks ago and tried it. Guess what? Frushi is actually delicious and something I would have again. You can see all the frushi ingredients in the image below. I couldn’t consider it a meal or a dessert but it makes an excellent snack. With just a little bit of whipped cream and the raspberry sauce they put on it, it almost tastes like a fruity rice pudding. I give it two thumbs up.
