I’m all about showing my Disney side on a daily basis, and one of my favorite ways to represent is with Alex and Ani bracelets! If you’ve never heard of them, these bangles are made in the USA from recycled materials, and each one has a special charm. The brand offers everything from zodiac signs to NFL teams. I have collected quite a few over the last year or so, but most of mine (surprise, surprise) are Disney themed!
These Disney Alex and Ani bangles are sold on disneystore.com, as well as in the Disney parks.
I have some subtle, more general bracelets, such as one that includes my initial and another with my birthstone. (I’m a June baby.) Both of those also sport a Mickey Mouse charm. I have a Mickey filigree bracelet that is pretty and elegant. Definitely a subtle way of showing your Disney side.
Recently, a new “Hakuna Matata” bracelet was released, and I just had to indulge. I use that phrase a lot in my daily life. I remind myself when the going gets tough that everything will work out the way it’s supposed to. It means no worries!
You can find a classic Walt Disney World bangle with Cinderella Castle, as well as a Disneyland one with Sleeping Beauty Castle. I also have an EPCOT bracelet, as well as an Animal Kingdom one.
In addition to park-specific bracelets, there are character-specific bangles. You can find a bangle for almost every Disney princess, as well as some of the Fab Five characters.
I own two of the princess bangles. I got the Ariel one first, as she is my favorite Disney princess. Recently, I got the Belle one to celebrate a new adventure that I’ll be taking as a Disney cast member.
These bracelets are a reflection of my Disney side and my favorite aspects of the wide world of Disney. They’re fun, versatile, and something I can wear in good conscience. Not only are the bracelets made in America, but they are also made entirely of recycled materials! That is my kind of jewelry.
