What’s New at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2016? The party has some additions and substitutions I thought you’d like to know about. In case you’re not familiar with it, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a separate ticket event from a day at Magic Kingdom that takes place from 7:00 p.m. through midnight on select nights in November and December. The price depends on the night you go and though the party doesn’t start until 7:00 p.m. guests can enter the park at 4:00 p.m. There is a themed fireworks show and parade, special characters to meet, complimentary treats and festive lighting and decor all throughout Magic Kingdom. Now, let’s get to the new stuff.

Mickey and Minnie

Mickey and Minnie Mouse just don’t age. The timeless mouse couple debuted their new look at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2016 and look younger than ever. When they came rolling down Main Street in the Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade it was so magical with the snow and dream lights on the castle!

Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration

There’s a new show on the castle stage this year. The former castle show, Celebrate the Season, included many traditional Christmas songs in a stylish spectacular. The new show, Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration, is a very modern and multicultural Christmas show incorporating castle projections. At one point Cinderella Castle turns into a giant chandelier. Heart. Eyes. The final song is familair and will warm your heart.

More Treats

All of the treats. So many treats. One of the highlights of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is the trick or treating right? Now Mickey’s Verry Merry Christmas Party has a similar element. In the past Very Merry offered unlimited snickerdoodle cookies and hot cocoa all around Magic Kingdom park. This year guests can enjoy these and many more treats of the season including ginger cookies, peppermint cookies, snow cones, sugar cookies, apple cider and eggnog.
