As I celebrated my third wedding anniversary this week; I did what I usually do. I thought about our wedding day. I listened as family members and friends continued to talk about what a great time it was. And still thanking us for inviting them.

We didn’t have an ordinary wedding. Nope. We had a Disney Fairytale Wedding. It had been my dream since I was a child. But I never wanted the “fairytale” wedding. I remember being at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn & Villas with my boyfriend and seeing a wedding party go by. As I watched them go by, I took in the Yacht & Beach Club Resorts across the water. The lighthouse standing tall. The salt water taffy colors of the Boardwalk buildings. This. This was what I wanted.

We had our ceremony at Sea Breeze Point at Disney’s Boardwalk. You may not know the name but, if you’ve ever visited the Boardwalk, you’ve surely seen it. It was a gorgeous venue with a clear view of Disney’s Yacht Club resort behind it.

After some fun photos on the Boardwalk. And “Congratulations!!!” being shouted at us every 10 seconds, we headed down towards the Atlantic Dance Hall for our reception. And, of course, had some special surprise guests arrive.

I had really wanted to keep with the Boardwalk, Carnival, 40’s nightclub feel. So, there was a mixture of salt water taffy, pin up girls, pocket watches, postcards, and a little Dumbo tossed in.

It was so hard to pic out just a couple photos for this post so I picked just a few to share with you for now. 🙂Disney Fairytale Wedding

Happy Anniversary Marilyn!!! These pictures are beautiful and of course makes me think of my own DFTW at Sea Breeze Point too! I loved it for the same reasons! Ever since I can remember thinking about my wedding, I always pictured it at the Boardwalk. It’s just my favorite place. The Boardwalk area is just so photogenic and perfect in every way.
