Today I attended a Christmas in July event at the Gaylord Palms. The theme of this year’s ICE! was announced and I’m pleased to share that Alex, Gloria, King Julien XIII and more pals from Madagascar will be the stars of the chilly event.
As you can tell I was very excited to see Gingy, the delicious looking gingerbread man from the Shrek series. “Not the gumdrop buttons!” Though ICE! will be Madagascar themed, Gingy’s Gingerbread Decorating, is another part of the Christmas festivites at the Gaylord Palms. Also part of the fun are visits with Santa and spectacular decorations throughout the already gorgeous resort.

Artist Vanilla Ice made a surprise cameo singing the oh so appropriate Ice Ice Baby!
Christmas is 159 days away but I’m already excited to celebrate! I attended ICE! last year on a day when proceeds from the event went to Give Kids The World Village and I loved it! The Gaylord Palms is an absolutely beautiful resort and I think the cost to stay is a good value for the quality of luxury you receive.
